Profile:

Voice of Young People In Care (VOYPIC) is a NI wide children’s charity. We support over 600 children and young people each year, living in foster families, children’s homes, hospital, and those young people leaving care. We want every child in care to feel safe, valued and loved, and every young person leaving care to do so with dignity, respect, and to thrive into adulthood.
We ensure children and young people voices are heard in decisions about their lives, and that their rights are protected. We provide direct support and advice through independent advocacy services, mentoring and coaching, personal development and youth leadership programmes.
We want to improve outcomes for children in care and young care leavers, through better support for education and training, employment support, health and wellbeing programmes, quality housing and accommodation, access to digital technology and skills.
