Sentinus

Sentinus is an educational charity which can assist in delivering social value by enhancing STEM and employability skills of both young people and adults. While the primary focus of our work is the engagement of young people, of all ages, in science, technology, engineering and maths, we also provide employability skills programmes to support preparedness and development of transferrable skills for the workplace. Some of these programmes are equally valuable for adults and can prove inspirational, especially for those who may be struggling to find or retain employment or those wishing to return to the workplace after a period away. In addition, they can be very valuable for those from disadvantaged backgrounds who wish to develop their interpersonal skills or prepare for interview or the workplace.

Sentinus has also had a significant focus on the delivery of programmes which support the development of digital skills, including computer programming and has a wide range of programmes covering areas including introduction to coding, digital product development, introduction to cybersecurity and staying safe online. Again these programmes are equally valuable for adults who wish to improve their digital capabilities, or simply wish to know more about the basics.
