Profile: |
At SENAC we help children get the right support in school. Children with special educational needs can struggle without the resources to succeed. This contributes to the stress and worry of the children and young people, and also their parents and extended family. We provide a helpline, advocacy support and tribunal representation to ensure children get the support they need to thrive. We are open to everyone who needs our help. This is anyone with a child with special needs or supporting a child. This means families from any background and also social workers supporting a child in care. While the focus of our work is in helping children get the right equipment, facilities and support in school, the outcomes are improvements in wider health and well-being. |
