Rainbow Child & Family Centre is a registered local charity running services for the past 40 years. We employ 40 staff mainly from the local area and works within the Ballyarnett area and wider City of Derry. Over 200 children and families engage weekly in our range of services, programmes, training, home visiting service, support groups & one off events. Our services are broken into 5 areas and include: 1. Early Years services -Preschool, 1, 2, 3-Year-old programmes running 3 days each week. Running Thursday & Friday 9:15am to 11:10am with 12 children registered, learning library with resources to use at home to build home learning environment. 2. Parenting support services- Baby steps to parenting programme which runs a range of support & training sessions, my baby & me, my wobbler & me, My Toddler & me, parent support groups, Weekly stay & play, Weekly play, arts & craft , music sessions, support understanding & navigation the SEN process, weekly home visitor support with learning packs. 3. Community services- 50+ wellbeing club& activities, Knit & Natter group, family fundays, financial & wellbeing clinics. 4. Childcare services – Fully registered with WHSCT afterschool & nursery service for children aged 4 years to 12 years, Full summer scheme service July & August. Respite for parents needing extra support. 5. Youth Services- weekly homework support club. |
