Kilcooley Women’s Centre, established in 1995, has been delivering services for women, children and families dedicated to empowering women and building community development. As a training organisation, it offers diverse programmes aimed at enhancing employability and skills development. Additionally, it operates as a social enterprise providing childcare services, catering to both the needs of working parents and nurturing the development of children in a safe and supportive environment. The centre also prioritises wellbeing, offering resources and support services to promote mental and physical health and emotional wellbeing programmes. Through its social supermarket, it addresses food insecurity by providing affordable groceries and essential items to the community. They operate a community cafe which serves as a hub for social interaction and support, offering a welcoming space for individuals to connect over shared experiences whilst providing training for the hospitality sector, specialising in Barista training. |
