iDig Training is a construction and utilities training provider based near Newry, operating across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Our mission is to bridge the gap between education and employment by preparing individuals with the practical skills required to work safely and competently within the construction and infrastructure sectors. Our 10-acre training facility provides hands-on learning using industry machinery, simulators, and VR safety technology to create realistic training environments for new entrants to the industry. Through our Social Value initiatives we work with schools, community organisations, and industry partners to introduce people to careers in construction and utilities. Our programmes include school outreach activities, site-readiness training, employability programmes, and practical skills development designed to support individuals entering the workforce. iDig Training is also actively working with organisations such as Disability Action and rehabilitation partners to create inclusive pathways into employment. By combining practical training with community engagement, we help contractors deliver meaningful Social Value outcomes while addressing skills shortages within the construction industry. By partnering with iDig Training, organisations can demonstrate measurable social impact through skills development, employment pathways, community engagement, and industry outreach programmes. |
