Housing Matters NI - a trading name of Kith & Kin Financial Wellbeing, is a unique project part-funded by Belfast City Council and is Northern Ireland’s first Social Enterprise Estate Agency offering a Home Sales, Letting and Maintenance Service. As a not-for-profit company all profits are used for social good within Northern Ireland.
The Home Maintenance Service will include painting, gardening, grounds clearance and cleaning services. This is a social cooperative offering a competitive and professional practical service whilst providing social value through employment opportunities for individuals with health conditions, learning disabilities and those from disadvantaged backgrounds. People of all ages will be offered this pathway to employment, receive tailored training and will be supervised at all times. Our aim is to widen participation, address barriers to employment and offer work experience, skills gain and a healthy routine to participants.
