We understand that movement and dance help to improve and enhance people’s lives.
By increasing participation in contemporary dance, we aim to increase enthusiasm for the art form and deliver the benefits of movement and dance to the community.
We’re based in Belfast, but able to travel across Northern Ireland, to connect with people of all ages and abilities.
We deliver dance workshops that help participants with health and wellbeing, creative expression, team building, movement awareness, fitness and fun.
Our workshops help other organisations and charities deliver their wellbeing programmes.
Our approach to creative movement means we can make tailor-made dance sessions, accessible to people of all experience levels, ages and abilities.
We can tie in with particular themes and suggest ways to research new ideas through movement.
Somatic dance and movement sessions are also offered to help people explore movement through mindful exploration techniques and experiential anatomy.
In some cases, these sessions can help those recovering from difficulties and trauma, by creating a safe space to move, recover a sense of freedom and develop a creative voice.
We also support local artists, offering professional development through mentoring, training and creative opportunities.
