This is only a small example of programmes delivered within Churchtown CAs Community Centre which actively encourage local people to engage in community life, whilst providing them with a platform meet people , to exchange ideas and learn, a place to support each other and build friendships, with the aim of reducing isolation and feelings of loneliness, whilst creating awareness and education around issues relating to physical & mental health, remaining independent, thereby empowering local people to be more activity engage and have a positive influence on their quality of life As a registered charity Churchtown CA is solely reliant on external funding & fundraising activities to deliver projects and is not in receipt of core funding from any statutory agency. |
