| Profile: |
Building Communities Resource Centre (BCRC) is a well-established community organisation working across Ballymoney and the wider Causeway Coast and Glens area. We support individuals, families and community groups, with a particular focus on people who may experience disadvantage, isolation, discrimination or barriers to accessing services and opportunities. Our work responds directly to needs identified within the local community. We deliver and support a wide range of programmes promoting community development, good relations, inclusion, health and wellbeing, social connection and active participation. This includes support for minority ethnic communities, people with disabilities and neurodivergence, older people, young people, families and individuals experiencing social or economic disadvantage. BCRC also provides practical support to local community and voluntary groups, helping them strengthen their governance, access funding, manage projects and develop sustainable activities. Through our established local relationships, we have a strong understanding of community needs and can identify where business support could make a genuine and lasting difference. As a Social Value Broker, BCRC aims to connect businesses and contractors with meaningful opportunities to support local people and organisations. These opportunities may include: Donations of equipment, materials, services or prizes |
