Profile: |
Brothers Autism Social Enterprise (BASE) CIC non-profit was formed in 2024. BASE provides social intervention for autistic adults in the Greater Belfast region. In our initial year BASE was recognised as finalists in 3 categories at the Social Enterprise NI Awards 2024 [best Social Impact; best Newcomer; and best Social Media]. Our revenue is mainly generated through the external delivery of training, including: autism spectrum, neurodiversity, mental health disorders, and more. Brothers was recognised as Finalist in CPD Register Awards 2023, as best Newcomer across all industries in the U.K. Revenue generated through training will allow us to continue to deliver our autistic adult intervention and support, mainly through BASE’s ‘Understanding and Expressing Autism through the Arts’ programme. To date we have delivered to >20 well known local organisations and groups and our trainers consistently receive the highest praise in feedback from attendees. Training additionally provides paid employment opportunities for our BASE attendees who co-facilitate our training programmes and additionally speak about their own personal journey as autistic/neurodiverse person. BASE’s training can be tailored to meet the needs of all organisations, businesses, and groups [duration of training, in-person or online, etc.]. Contact us today and help support the continued development and growth of our wonderful autism intervention non-profit! |
