Bowtown Community Development Group is a non-profit community organisation based in the Bowtown Estate, Newtownards. We are registered with the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland (107722). The organisation’s main objective is to provide services and programmes that improve the quality of life for those who in live within an area which is recognised as having high levels of socio-economic deprivation. We support all ages and try to tailor our programmes to address social issues that affect residents. The group is ran solely by volunteers. We work closely with our interagency partners to address issues within the local area. These issues include grounds maintenance, ASB, hardship support, welfare, housing and benefit advice. Our main priority is improving community spaces and regenerating the area. |
