Be Safe Be Well Men’s Shed delivers five Men’s Shed projects in the Causeway Coast and Glens area, 2 x Coleraine, Foreglen, Limavady town and Portstewart. The objectives of our Men’s Sheds is to reduce isolation and loneliness of vulnerable and older men. In doing so our project will improve mental health and wellbeing. Our Men’s Shed activities promote health literacy, physical welling and positive mental health. Our Men’s Sheds have directly prevented suicide and self harm for many members over the past 9 years since they have been established. Our activities are user led and include woodwork, craft, cooking, growing projects, music, arts, counselling, Repair Cafe Events, ReCycle projects, darts and pool and many more seasonal activities. |
