All About Birth CIC

All About Birth CIC provides all-round informational, educational, physical and emotional support to families through pregnancy, birth and the early postnatal period. Services offered include birth and postnatal doula support, individual and group antenatal and hypnobirthing courses, birth pool and equipment hire and babywearing consultancy.

The transition to parenthood is a life-changing experience, and although exciting can often be a time of uncertainty or worry. As strong advocates of evidence-based information, we are passionate about providing services designed to guide, support and empower parents, educating them about their rights and options and enabling them to advocate for themselves and navigate their own path through the maternity system.

Unfortunately, many experience childbirth as traumatic, which can lead to postnatal mental health issues and family relationship strains. Our services are particularly vital for those facing additional challenges, such as social deprivation or previous traumatic births, as these factors can exacerbate the risk of poor outcomes for mothers and babies.

We ensure parents feel safe, supported and prepared to have a positive birth experience and transition to parenthood with confidence and good mental health. By doing so, we aim to make a significant difference in the lives of expectant and new parents in Northern Ireland, fostering a supportive and empowering environment for families during the perinatal period.
